Fan understands how overwhelming life can feel. Stress, anxiety, trauma, loss, and relational conflict often drain our capacity for peace and joy. She also holds deep awareness of the complexities of parenting, navigating cultural differences, and carrying the weight of intergenerational stories and wounds.

With Master’s degrees from Stanford University and Santa Clara University, Fan works with individuals, couples, and families across diverse cultural and relational contexts. She supports clients through a wide range of concerns, including relationship challenges, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, parenting struggles, and intercultural or interracial dynamics.

An internationally acclaimed author and co-host of a grant-winning mental health podcast, Fan brings more than 15 years of experience spanning the tech, creative, and nonprofit sectors. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in warmth, empathy, and collaboration, informed by both her lived experience and years of service within diverse communities.

Her treatment approach is collaborative and integrative, drawing from humanistic, existential, psychodynamic, and somatic-based modalities. She also incorporates art therapy, play therapy, narrative therapy, and evidence-based techniques from CBT, DBT, and ACT to tailor interventions that meet each client’s unique needs and goals.

Beyond her clinical work, Fan is passionate about increasing access to mental health resources for underserved communities. Through advocacy and community engagement, she works to reduce barriers to care and expand pathways to well-being.

  • Fan offers sessions in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
