Dr. Kieu-Yen Luu, M.D. is dedicated to supporting adults navigating a wide range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology with honors from The University of California, Los Angeles, her medical degree from The University of California, Davis, and completed her general psychiatry residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She is pursuing a forensic psychiatry fellowship at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Luu believes that healing begins with understanding each patient’s unique story, cultural background, and values. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel seen, heard, and supported. Her clinical work is informed by evidence-based practices and a deep commitment to health equity.
Dr. Luu is also committed to working with immigrant communities, helping her patients explore their cultural identity, process intergenerational trauma, and the unique struggles faced by immigrant communities. Her approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to helping patients build resilience and create meaningful, lasting change..
