
Dr. Rufia Ai-Siddiq, Associate Psychologist
Dr. Rufia Ai-Siddiq is a fourth-year doctoral trainee in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. She provides strength-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care to adolescents, adults, and older adults.
Rufia believes that every individual possesses innate abilities and inner resources to foster healing and growth. She works collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen self-awareness, and develop practical strategies to manage emotions and behaviors effectively. Her therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic principles, integrating evidence-based interventions with warmth, curiosity, and respect for each person’s lived experience.
Her clinical experience includes working in school-based, community mental health, and residential settings, where she has supported clients with depression, anxiety, panic disorder, ADHD, grief, and complex trauma. She also has experience providing psychological assessments for diagnostic clarification and academic accommodations. Rufia’s ongoing doctoral research focuses on the impact of CBT-based interventions for internet addiction among adolescents.
Rufia is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, and is committed to providing an inclusive, compassionate space where clients feel empowered to move toward resilience and well-being.
