Dr. Kieu-Yen Luu, M.D. received her medical degree from the University of  California, Davis, completed her psychiatry residency at Harbor-UCLA, and pursued a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the University of Southern California. She has a warm, compassionate, and culturally sensitive approach to mental health care. She works with adults navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.

Dr. Luu believes that healing begins with understanding each patient’s unique story, cultural background, and values. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel seen, heard, and supported. Her clinical work is informed by evidence-based practices and a deep commitment to health equity.

She brings to her work a strong foundation in research, leadership, and community service, with experience supporting underserved and immigrant populations.

Dr. Luu is passionate about helping individuals gain insight, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.
